AFRICAN LEADERSHIP GROUP
My role involves the design and implementation of magical and transformative community experiences that augment and compliment the learning experiences of our beneficiaries from across the African continent thereby accelerating their employment journeys:
1. Collaborated with a team of 13 in delivering transformative learning and community experiences that accelerate young Africans’ employment journeys.
2. Within 8 months, we have trained over 40,000 virtual assistants that are now ready for the job market and we have launched the call for the third cohort that begins in Mid-August 2022.
3. We achieved: 83% CSAT score, 91 Net Promoter Score, 67% completion rate and linked thousands to dignified work opportunities; evidence of creating impact on our mission to develop 3 million ethical and entrepreneurial leaders by 2030.

PARTNERSHIPS AND PRODUCTION COORDINATOR- PROJECT OAH-X
INTERNATIONAL TRADE CENTRE (Ethical Fashion Initiative)
My role involves overseeing the implementation of the entire Project X by ensuring effective skilling and mentoring of young African creatives, artisans and designers in the fields of fashion, music and modeling. I offer my expertise through the entire cycle of planning to execution by ensuring all events run according to schedule i.e. recruitment of participants, identification of jurors and incubation centers. The roles include:
1. Conduct market mapping surveys to identify potential partners that EFI can collaborate with in implementing the project.
2. Serve as chief liaison between EFI and suppliers/service providers i.e. live broadcaster, TV stations, contestants, incubation centers etc.
3. Support PR efforts to promote the EFI projects i.e. podcasts and creatives competition in 4 selected countries in Africa by coordinating the involvement of EFI Partners and Media;
4. Support the implementation of EFI projects in Kenya, Uganda, Nigeria and Ghana; Manage and monitor the marketing plan implementation of EFI Partners and Media.
5. Put together monthly and quarterly reports with updates on the status and progress of the project as well share learning points for best practices

GOOGLE DIGITAL SKILLS for AFRICA UGANDA LEAD

My role involves actively seeking out institutions and like-minded organizations where we can roll out the 3-hour digital skills learning clinics that are sponsored by google demonstrating how people can leverage google platforms to achieve their goals. I manage a team of 30 trainers as well as several collaborating institutions. In the last eight months together with a team of 20 facilitators we have trained and empowered 24, 000 youths across Uganda and forged concrete work partnerships with USSIA (Uganda Small Scale Industries’ Association), UWEAL (Uganda Women Entrepreneurs’ Association Limited) and UEPB (Uganda Export Promotion Board)

UPSKILL TEAM LEAD
THE INNOVATION VILLAGE
I lead a team of 10 at Uganda's largest innovation hub. My role involved design of youth-centered skilling and mentorship programs with a bias for 70% female participation under the Young Africa Works initiative by MasterCard Foundation. I further actively sought out new partnerships both at community level and funding level to enable the program reach more youths and especially young women in helping them become more employable by closing their skills gap. I managed to role the program to reach over 2188 youths out of which over 1500 were women within 6 months and linked a further 343 to work opportunities. The role required a lot of timely and accurate reporting to all stakeholders, a role which I played well almost to perfection. I further found and initiated new ways of discovering the most needy youths especially young women within the communities. I was the brains behind #CodeQueen, a women-only web development masterclass in collaboration with Educating The Children

GOOGLE DIGITAL SKILLS for AFRICA KISUMU PROJECT OFFICER

My role as the Project Lead for Kisumu County involved managing and supervising a team of 15 colleagues. I also actively sought institutions and partnerships with various local government stakeholders where we train Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) on digital marketing using Google tools such as Adwords, search engine marketing and website creation. I have managed to roll out the program to reach 14,311 youths within 2 years that have been empowered with digital skills such as online search engine marketing and website creation.

G.I.Z EnDEV and WORLD VISION
In April, I trained rocket stove builders and solar lamps vendors in the Lake Victoria Cluster on behalf of G.I.Z on effective marketing and budgetary practices to help grow their businesses using the Business Model Canvas principle. There was a considerable improvement in sales figures in the months of June and July following the trainings. Following this successful engagement, the cluster management seconded me to World Vision Lambwe Valley for a similar training in August for their participants that build modern kisasa energy saving jikos

My role involves forging lasting cooperation with youth empowerment stakeholders in rolling out socioeconomic skills empowerment program that would equip youths to set up successful lean startups. The program encourages budding entrepreneurs to start small and either succeeds fast or fails fast, fail small and learn fast. By combining digital literacy and socioeconomic empowerment, I have realized an over 50% success rate where participants have setup thriving businesses through extensive coaching and mentorship sessions.
